When it comes to naming our Mustangs we try to take great care in picking the perfect name. Many of us have desperately gone for the name ‘Eleanor’ – which is famous from the movie ‘Gone in 60 Seconds’. After a long battle the name has been licensed and you don’t even have to worry about giving it a name because it will already be called the Eleanor Mustang.

Two years ago Unique Motorcars underwent a massive lawsuit brought against them by the movie’s producer – Denice Halicki was rejected in the end. However, it seems that Halicki got the upper hand still and managed to come up with this new Mustang all on their own. Halicki’s studio is building these Eleanor Mustangs with the help of Classic Recreations.

You can choose the $139,900 535 horsepower fuel injected version or the $189,900 770 horsepower fuel injected and supercharged version. The new Eleanor Mustang has been built using the classic frame of the muscle car, a Keith Craft Racing 410 cubic-inch engine that sports fuel injection. It also has a coil over suspension built with cross drilled and slotted Baer brakes as well as a TKO Tremec manual.

Some of the great features that have been added include a DVD in the dash, custom leather interior, the special badges, five point racing harnesses, and a keyless entry. Consumers who want to get their hands on these one of a kind special edition mustangs will have to wait four months for them to be delivered.
