Ford Mustang Bullitt 2008

Ford has once again turned to the Bullitt moniker for a warmer version of the Mustang. In 2001, punters were given a version of the Mustang with a 265 bhp V8 and dark green paintwork, reminiscent of the Mustang driven by Steve McQueen in the film “Bullitt”. The Ford Mustang Bullitt card has been played again for the 2008 model year. In addition to the dark green paint, this latest edition also features an exhaust note tuned to the sound of the Bullitt Mustang’s engine, as Ford engineered played and replayed the “Bullitt” DVD. That almost no-one would notice and fewer would probably care was obviously not entertained. Cynical marketing moves aside, the Bullitt does feature a few changes over the standard Mustang.
