Nitrous Oxide

Posted by admin On December - 19 - 2008

Nitrous oxide carries more oxygen to the engine, allowing for faster burning of the fuel and generating more power. At high temperatures, such as those found inside a firing cylinder, nitrous oxide breaks down into nitrogen and oxygen gas. This raises the partial pressure of oxygen in the gas mix above the level found in normal atmospheric air, and lets the fuel burn more efficiently.

It seems official ‘Eleanor‘ builders, Classic Recreations, are establishing themselves as a worldwide player in the custom car manufacture business with news hot of the press that the first Russian order has been placed for a “ultra high-performance 750 horsepower movie star supercar”.

Ford Mustang History

Posted by admin On November - 10 - 2008

For a car enthusiast, knowing the history of the Ford Mustang is as basic as knowing the laws of thermodynamics are to a physicist, knowing Hebrew is to a rabbi or knowing when the bacon is done to a cook at Denny’s. Even the rarest, most powerful Mustangs ever built (such as the ’69 Boss 429) were assembled with haphazard care by a UAW workforce facing a quick-moving, continuous production line with parts that were shared in common with six-cylinder Falcons, four-door Fairlanes and stripped Galaxies. Handcrafting and taking the time to do something extra special has never been part of Mustang production.
