It’s back! Every few years we can rely on Saleen Autosport to come out with some of their best work in the form of a special edition or limited edition Mustang (becoming more frequently lately). This year is no different, Saleen is continuing the SA limited edition anniversary model trend that began back in 1988 with the SA-10 and led up to the SA-20 in 2003. This year they are bringing the SA back with the new SA-25 Sterling Edition Mustang.
When it comes to naming our Mustangs we try to take great care in picking the perfect name. Many of us have desperately gone for the name ‘Eleanor’ – which is famous from the movie ‘Gone in 60 Seconds’. After a long battle the name has been licensed and you don’t even have to worry about giving it a name because it will already be called the Eleanor Mustang.
Ford unveils the Mustang Giugiaro concept car, which is powered by a 500hp supercharged 4.6L 3-valve V8 from the Mustang GT.
Roush performance is moving quickly with their new 2009 Roush P-51B Mustang. The 510 horsepower P-51B Mustang will be it’s most exclusive Mustang yet with only 51 models being produced. The Roush P-51B will only be available in coupe form with a 5-speed manual transmission and Vapor Silver paint. With the limited run of 2009 Mustangs Roush is already taking orders through Roush authorized dealers. Roush will be building the P-51B Mustangs in October with a November delivery date. MSRP for this limited edition Mustang is said to be in the neighborhood of $61K. Pictured above is the P-51A Mustang but you can pretty much get an idea of what it will look like.

Launched in 2006, the Ford Warriors in Pink campaign recognizes the strength and courage it takes to deal with the everyday challenges of fighting breast cancer.
Ford’s goal in 2008 is to donate more than $1 million for the Cure through these sales of the special Mustangs, Warriors in Pink apparel and other fundraising efforts.
